Is there parking at the venue?

Although we don't have a car park, unrestricted parking is available on local streets. Allow around 10 mins for parking and accessing the venue.

Who runs the Maker's Nook?

The Maker’s Nook is run by the Trafford Methodist Circuit — a friendly team of crafters and volunteers passionate about creativity, community, and connection. Everyone’s welcome to make, chat, and unwind… and there’s always a warm drink waiting for you!

Do I need to be a member of the church to attend?

Not at all! The Maker’s Nook is open to everyone — you don’t need to be a church member (or even crafty!) to join in. Just come as you are, bring your curiosity, and enjoy a warm welcome, good company, and the joy of making something by hand.

Join us for three cozy afternoons of crafting and sipping on delicious hot cocoa at our event, Craft and Cocoa!

Get cosy and creative this Christmas with three festive afternoons of crafting and cocoa. Each week you’ll make a beautiful handmade gift — from artisan soaps and candles to colourful bath bombs — all while sipping hot chocolate and soaking up the Christmas spirit. Come to one, two or three sessions.

Sunday 21st November: Bath Bombs
No experience needed, just come ready to relax, have fun, and take home something special (and wonderfully giftable!).
