About this event

During this fun packed workshop participants will learn about the basic principles of kite making, make and decorate a fabulous flying traditional ‘Hata’ type kite commonly made and flown across South East Asia.

Each participant will be provided with everything they need to make a Hata style kite, including:

  • A pre cut kite sail to decorate with fabric pens
  • Spine and spar
  • Bridle line and towing ring
  • 5m sail
  • Handle with 100m flying line
  • Sheet with tips/instructions and a bag to carry it all home in.

Duration: 1 hour

Cost: £35 (plus fees)
