Crafternoon in aid of Wellingborough Mind
Thu 8 December 2016, 14:00 – 19:00 GMT
Join us for an hour or two (or all afternoon) for our Crafternoon, which means getting together with friends, family or colleagues to hold an afternoon of crafting and raise money for Wellingborough Mind – a fun way to help us be there for everyone with a mental health problem.
Our Christmas Crafternoon means all of the above, but also cracking out the mince pies, your favourite jumper and getting into the festive spirit by making felt decorations to decorate your home and you heart. Felt kits will be provided at the event for a donation, sewing kits will be provided for free but you may bring your own if you prefer.
Poppy Patch is in a converted barn in a rural setting in the village of Great Doddington near Wellingborough. We will be ‘Upstairs at Poppies’ in the spacious light filled space above the fabric shop, access to the event will be via a set of stairs. The event is being hosted by Wellingborough Mind and we hope to bring you a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to craft, find out more about Mind, and ask us any questions about Mental Health.
Thanks to our friends for at Poppy Patch for donating the space to host our event.
