Crafternoons
Overview
Join artist Josie Sawtell-Cousins for a creative drawing adventure through London.
Step away from the everyday and discover the joy of drawing in the heart of the city. This relaxed workshop invites you to see London with fresh eyes, using nothing more than a biro pen and your imagination.
We'll start at Catford Library with a chat about creativity and some playful drawing exercises—no experience needed! Then we'll head out together on a short journey through London, sketching the people, moments, and details that catch our eye. It's about capturing the feeling of the city, not creating perfect pictures.
Your drawings will become part of Don't Be a Stranger, a growing audiovisual map celebrating London as seen by Londoners. By January 2026, contributions from workshops across the city will form a collective portrait of our diverse, vibrant communities.
