Crafting Amulets

How can natural materials help us process fear, memories, and personal challenges?

In this inspiring workshop at Kazerne, you will craft your own amulet: a small symbol of protection, made with your own hands.

Together we will take time to talk, listen, and connect. This way, we create an open and creative space to pause, share experiences, and strengthen one another.

Join us during Dutch Design Week and enjoy a joyful and meaningful morning of making, connecting, and reflecting.

Marjo van Schaik

Marjo van Schaik combines craft, design, and social engagement in her work, with a focus on natural materials such as wool from Dutch sheep. She develops workshops, projects, and cultural initiatives that explore creativity, resilience, and connection, merging hands-on making with reflection and dialogue. She is also active in international cultural programs, teaching and advising on design and community-focused projects.

The workshop takes place from 9:30 – 11:00 AM and is open to everyone.
Participation is € 30 per person, including all materials.
