Across two interactive sessions, we’ll dive into how to tailor your tone, language and layout for different audiences and shape online content that’s engaging and easy to navigate.

We’ll focus on understanding the different needs and priorities of your audiences and how to craft messages that really resonate.

You’ll explore new ideas in a welcoming environment and come away with practical tools you can put to work straight away in your own communications.

Session One: Understanding your audienc

Monday 15th September, 11:00am - 13:00pm BST

– Effectively segmenting and understanding the needs of your online audience

– The importance of language and imagery in digital content

– Tailoring your web content and social media to capture your audience

Session Two: Crafting a compelling message

Tuesday 16th September, 11:00am - 13:00pm BST

– Exploring NHS digital content guidelines

– Building a toolkit of strategies to assist you when writing for the web

– The principles and power of plain English

Deposit system

Registering for this online masterclass will require paying a refundable deposit of £15 upon registration.

Following the event, if you have attended at least one of the two sessions, you will get your full deposit back. We understand that circumstances can change, especially in the rare disease community.

Should you register for the masterclass and realise you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We will endeavour to refund your deposit in full provided reasonable notice is given. Reasonable notice for this event is no later than 5 working days before.
