Under Article 12 of the UNCRC (Children’s Rights), young people have the right to be listened to and taken seriously on issues that affect them, or they are interested in.
In 2024, we created a document, together with young people, called the YELL strategy and we want to tell you more about it and how young people should be consulted.
So, we have decided to hold a number of creative workshops this summer where you can have fun being creative while hearing about YELL and letting us know what you think about LIVE Borders buildings in your community.
Interested?
Are you aged 11 to 18?
If so, find the workshop nearest you from the list below and fill in your details to get your invite. The sessions are free, but we only have 15 spaces on each workshop so book now to get your space. If you are under 16 then we will need your parents’ consent. So, they need to fill out the details too.
As well as taking part in a fun workshop, you will also be helping us with our research, so for that we will also give you Young Scot points on the day. So make sure to bring your Young Scot card with you.
There will be drink and snacks on the day too.
