Alexandra Sokoloff and Craig Robertson are a dynamic literary couple—each a prolific author in their own right, and often collaborators—splitting their time between Los Angeles and Scotland.
Alexandra Sokoloff is an award-winning American novelist, screenwriter, writing instructor, and dancer. A California native and UC Berkeley graduate, she began her professional journey in theatre, juvenile education and Hollywood, writing scripts and novel adaptations for major studios.
Transitioning into fiction, she debuted with the Bram Stoker and Anthony nominated ghost story The Harrowing (2006), and went on to pen supernatural thrillers (The Unseen, Book of Shadows) and the acclaimed Huntress/FBI crime series (Huntress Moon–Shadow Moon), praised for flipping traditional thriller tropes with a female serial killer and a haunted FBI agent.
Craig Robertson, a Scottish crime writer from Stirling, previously worked as a journalist covering major world events—including 9/11 and the Omagh bombing—and won acclaim in crime fiction with novels often set in Glasgow.
His debut, Random, earned a CWA John Creasey Dagger nod; subsequent works have been longlisted or shortlisted for major UK crime awards. He co-directs the Bloody Scotland crime festival.
Together they’ve launched a new mystery/thriller series titled Lost Highway, co-authored during the pandemic and due in 2026.
