Cramlington Library - Clark's Bog Talk with Peter Matthewson

Peter Matthewson, the custodian of Clark's Bog, will be here at Cramlington Library to discuss the reserve and all that has been done to it since he leased the land from a farmer. He will be talking about the reserve's humble beginnings and how it has become an evolving project involving the local community. He will explain what has been done to the land to encourage wildlife to make use of it and what sort of animals can be seen there. Throughout the talk he'll be emphasising the importance of nature and highlighting the many things you and I can do to protect and preserve animals and plants. We hope you can come!
