Cream Tea at Bovey Castle: A Devon Women's Leadership Network event

Mid-year often brings a particular kind of tiredness for women in leadership.

You have held teams, juggled priorities, solved problems (sometimes before anyone else even spotted them) and kept everything moving. This afternoon is your chance to pause.

Join us at the magnificent Bovey Castle for a summer gathering designed to give you breathing space, connection and a moment to simply enjoy being you.

What to expect

Set within 275 acres of Dartmoor countryside, Bovey Castle offers the perfect backdrop for a restorative afternoon. We will gather on the terrace, overlooking sweeping views and surrounded by the quiet calm of the estate. A beautiful indoor salon will be available should the weather decide to disappoint.

You will enjoy a traditional cream tea, complete with freshly baked scones, jam and cream.

The pace is intentionally slow.

The emphasis is on conversation, community and shared experience with other inspiring women from across sectors.

During the afternoon, you can:

• Unwind with other women leaders who understand the pressures and privileges of senior roles
• Enjoy time outdoors, wander the grounds or take a gentle walk
• Play a light-hearted game of croquet (or cheer on others from your seat with a cup of tea)
• Take a reflective moment for yourself within the castle’s serene surroundings
