Create a Christmas Window Card

Embrace the cosy magic of the season with a hands-on card making workshop set in the creative heart of the newly refurbished GreatArt superstore on Kingsland Road.
In this 2-hour guided session, you’ll discover the enchanting process of reverse painting, a technique that builds your artwork in layers, revealing a gorgeous vibrant effect when you turn it over.

Together, we’ll each create a beautifully detailed Christmas (or alternative) Window Card — a charming handmade keepsake perfect for gifting or displaying throughout the festive season.
You’ll be supported step-by-step by artists Sal Freckles & The Artful Fro, with plenty of room to explore the technique, build on your own style, experiment with colour, and enjoy a calming creative break from the bustle of outside.

All materials provided, including image options.

No experience needed — just come ready to indulge, paint and let the festive inspiration flow.

You are welcome to bring your own image to work from (ideally printed in mirrored view as the process flips the image, no bigger than 5x7 inches & allowing for a border)

We will use acrylic paint, and the process requires some focus, patience and ability to follow instructions, therefore is advisable for ages 12+

(you will know your children's abilities best)
