Create a Financial Plan: Startup Series #6
Every successful startup needs a finance plan to support growth. It’s important not to bodge your budget or be cagey about cashflow if you want your business to thrive – and you need to have absolute clarity about how you’re going to raise money, whether that’s through working capital, equity or debt.
But while most businesses will keep an eye on headline figures, few entrepreneurs take the time to really understand financial planning.
In this peer group event – part of the Startup Series from Brighton Chamber and Scarlet Monday, startups can take time out to explore the all-important financial decisions that can underpin success.
About The Startup Series
The Startup Series is a series of two-hour peer group focused events aimed at startups, covering the most important parts of the early stages of a business.
After all, from the moment you decide to start a business – regardless of however many times you've done it before – you’re on a journey. And that journey is fraught with danger, excitement and a whole host of challenges.
These small-group, facilitated events are here to help you meet those challenges. You and your peers will each be able to focus on the issues facing your own startup – with time equally devoted to each startup and places for just four startups at each event.
Over four months, the series will cover topics from understanding your market to crunching the numbers to developing a marketing strategy. As a startup, you can come to as many events as you like – mixing and matching to suit your needs.
The events will be facilitated by Si Conroy, CEO and founder of Scarlet Monday and ConstantMentor.com. Si specialises in guiding owners through the entrepreneur's journey and helping them grow their businesses.
