Create a Netflix Series in an Hour: Writing Workshop for Teens: Liz Hyder

Using nothing but their collective imagination, teenagers are invited to join writer and workshop leader Liz Hyder in creating the concept, characters, and plot ideas for a brand-new TV series in only an hour.

From sci-fi to fantasy, from gritty drama to comedy, anything could happen! Majority rules in this fast-paced workshop with ideas being put to the vote along the way… And who knows, you might end up with the next must-watch, smash-hit on your hands…

Energised, enthused and effervescent, Liz Hyder is not only a super-talented author but a past member of the National Youth Theatre. Liz trained with Spread the Word in London to run creative writing workshops and has since run workshops everywhere from schools and mosques to libraries.

Her young adult book, The Twelve, won a Nero Awards Book of the Year 2024.
