Overview

A FREE arts workshop for adults

Come and join us for a FREE art workshop at the Neighbourhood Network (Alf Marshall Community Centre) at 87 Goodhart Road, Bransholme, Hull. In this 2 hour session, you will have the opportunity to create art, learn art skills and connect with others in a safe and welcoming environment. Sessions are run by Holly Capstick from Thread and Press CIC, an experienced artist and art teacher.

In this exciting session, we will be showing you how to draw and use mixed-media to create a beautiful Winter Robin scene. The session starts at 10am, where we will warmly welcome you with a hot drink and opportunity to meet others and chat. The art session begins around 10.15am, and Holly will show you how to create your robin drawing and use various media. You will be supported throughout and there are plentiful breaks and opportunities to speak to others, share ideas or just have a chat. Art is a fantastic way to connect with other people and engage in a shared activity. The session finishes around 11.50am, with time for you to find out about our next sessions on offer.

These sessions are open to all adults, of any level of experience even if you have never drawn before. These sessions are a great way to learn, and meet with others!

Sessions have been kindly funded through the Asda Foundation and organised by the Neighbourhood Network @87 Goodhart Road. The aims are to enable participants to:
