Event description

Create good habits and be more effective.

“All work is empty save when there is love…

Work is love made visible.” - Kahil Gibran

What if you could show up to your work day singing inside?

What difference would that make to your effectiveness, productivity, reduction in anxiety levels?

Is your work filled with LOVE?

“Work is love made visible.” There is such power in that understanding.

Many of us very close to doing the work they love most. Often it is a small set of limiting behaviours that holds us back. We have ways and habits of working that reduce our productivity, our ability to focus or to choose which piece of work is the most important for right now.

Not addressing these subconscious habits can lead to feeling anxious, that there isn’t enough time and to a constance sense of business without being effective.

Is this you:

Do you feel anxious at work or at home?

Not enough hours in the day?

Are you busy without being effective?

What if you are creating these stresses? What if it’s down to YOU to create ways around these issues with ‘work’?

What if you are ultimately responsible and capable of transforming your work into a joyous expression of love!?

During May and June I’m creating a series of two workshops that will focus on this theme:

How can you work in a way that is empowered, loving and effective?

On the 23rd May

Join me in a two hour workshop in TOCS, Frome.

You will learn:

Simple and impactful good habits that will enable you to be more effective at work.

The art of successful good habit building and maintenance (and why most people fail at installing new habits!)

Ways to plan and execute tasks effectively while making the most of your time and effort.

On the 27th June

You will learn how to:

minimise stress from your inbox and take control of your emailing by using keyboard shortcuts, different viewing modes and a prioritisation method to give you freedom and mastery.

take control of your smartphone with a bunch of practical settings and notifications advice and some useful tools or attitudes to have towards technology

use Todoist and Evernote as examples of Apps that can help your capture ideas, plan effectively and organise your life!

The email element of this workshop is specifically designed for Gmail users but is applicable to everybody.

We will explore:

specific emailing tools and techniques to give you freedom and control

how to be an empowered user of your smartphone and for it not to take over your life

daily habits and rituals that will enable you to integrate the above learning.

As entrepreneurs and freelancers it’s crucial that we maximise our effectiveness while reducing stress; our livelihood depends on it.

How happy are you with how you are currently working? Give yourself a mark out of 10.

Could you do with a boost?

Come and join myself and a group of local entrepreneurs, leaders and creatives who are working to enhance their impact and effectiveness.

This two part workshop is split between May and June. Both parts stand alone and you are welcome to attend both or either one as individual sessions.
