Anjin 1600: Edo Wonderpark is a multi-room installation created by artist David Blandy which will be installed in the basement of the Rose Lipman building from 13th September to 26th October.

To mark the installation Create London will host a talk to consider socially engaged art in Japan. The talk will address how Japanese art might contribute to an analysis of the current socio-political environment, national identity and the aesthetic of Japanese culture.

Artist David Blandy will be in conversation with curator and Japan Foundation Fellow, Keith Whittle, Dr Verina Gfader and Japanese animator Keiko Shiraishi. Co-hosted by Japan400 as part of Japan400 Week.
