We are pleased to announce our second workshop in the Teach Inspire Create series with Hubbub, an environmental charity with a difference. Hubbub’s purpose is to inspire ways of living that are good for the environment. They disrupt the status quo to raise awareness, nudge behaviours and shape systems. Hubbub’s campaigns tackle environmental issues, from food waste to microfibres and (almost) everything in between.

Since joining Hubbub Michelle and Monika have used design to nudge people to recycle, brand a fleet of recycled plastic boats, make air pollution visible, and much more. Michelle currently runs Hubbub’s Design By Nature, an exciting UK wide design competition encouraging university students and recent graduates to generate innovative ideas for a more sustainable future.

In their workshop Michelle and Monika will introduce Hubbub and their approach to using design and creativity to inspire people to live in ways that are good for the environment. They’ll be sharing lots of inspiration and examples of collaborations with creatives, as well as tips for embedding sustainability into creative practice.
