Create your career week
Overview
During Create your career week, sessions delivered will aim to support participants to:
- Articulate your skills, experience and ideas and shape a career that works for you.
- Understand how to research, prototype and test as part of project management
- Determine how, what and where to pitch your ideas
- Think about Intellectual Property (IP) and ways to protect creative ideas
This programme is designed as a mix between lecture-style and participant-led activities. Providing an online space for you to not only gain (or renew) knowledge and insights but to apply and tailor it to your creative career needs.
Who is the programme for:
This programme is aimed at current UAL pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate students. UAL graduates/alumni are welcome to join.
The programme this term is particularly beneficial for:
- Anyone feeling unsure about career options
- Anyone considering a multi-hyphenate career route
- Anyone feeling pressure to decide between further studies, starting a business, freelancing or employment (spoiler, you don't have to!)
