Create Your Content Plan
Tue 22 November 2016, 10:30 – 14:30 GMT
Your Content Plan is an important part of your marketing plan as it sets out your plan of action for your blog posts and social media. It can also influence your email campaigns, landing pages and web copy and PR campaigns.
Having a plan in place stops you from being distracted, reduces the anxiety of having to write another blog post and ensure that you are consistent in your communications across different channels.
Just like the Marketing Plan Workshop you will actually be creating your Content Plan in this workshop!
In the first half of this workshop you will learn about content strategies like creating themed content, recycling content and content distribution. We'll be looking at what to publish, where, and how often.
Then you will get to put what you’ve learnt into practice in a practical session where you will start to create your own content marketing plan for 2017.
Some people confuse a Marketing Plan with a Content Plan but there is more to marketing than just content!
Your Marketing Plan supports your Content plan, as it outlines who you are targeting with your content, your business objectives and how much budget you have allocated to content marketing. Having a Marketing Plan helps integrate your Content Plan into the rest of the marketing activity in your business and not have it as a stand alone function. For example your press releases, direct mail and adverts can all be coordinated with your Content Plan as part of new product launches, event programmes or other business activities.
I’m on a mission to help 1,000 businesses do Better Smarter Marketing, this is your opportunity to be one of the 8 business owners to join me for this four hour workshop to create your Better Smarter Content Marketing Plan.
