Create Your Own Climate Future: En-ROADS Climate Workshop with Tracey Wong

This is a workshop designed for 18-25-year-olds.

This fun and interactive experience will support people to 'be the change' by enabling them to thoughtfully challenge net-zero greenwashing and demand real climate action.

The goal of this session is to help you support better conversations and build the capacity to take effective and equitable climate action. We will be using a free online simulator called En-ROADS, developed by Climate Interactive and the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative, to explore how it is still possible to mitigate climate change.

You will learn how to think from a systems perspective, understand the ways in which CO2 can enter and be removed from the atmosphere, and be familiar with some of the other greenhouse gases and their role in the climate emergency.

No matter what your age or level of knowledge, you're more than welcome to join in if you want some learnings in this space or are just keen to be inspired.

No prior technical background required at all, and no need to turn on your camera or microphone if that is your preference.

Note that you will need access to a separate web browser either on your computer or phone for some voting exercises conducted using Poll Everywhere during the session.
