Create your very own fabric patches!
Want to upgrade your old items, or maybe want to mend them in a snazzier way? Then how about coming along to this fun and creative workshop where we will be making our own fabric patches with a sewing machine!
You will learn how to create your own fabric patches using templates provided, then once confident, you can draw and create whatever you want in fabric patch form - teapot, flowers, animals, whatever you want. Scarlett will on hand to help
You will also learn the various ways to layer textiles and how to sew them with a normal sewing foot as well as a free motion foot too.
Not only is it planet friendly to upcycle as you’re prolonging the life of your older clothing, but you will leave the workshop feeling confident to carry on upcycling your textiles at home!
Experience of using a sewing machine is needed All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have any images or fabric scraps you want to bring, them bring along too.
