Workshop Theme: 'Create your own Halloween Stop-motion Clay Animation Movie!'

Recommended Ages: 8-12. Students will be paired with a similarly-aged partner, or friend/sibling on request.

Description: Lights, camera, action! In this workshop, students will work in pairs to create their own Halloween-themed short stop-motion film using HUE Animation software and webcams! We'll be creating characters out of modelling clay and learning how this medium allows us to create some cool on-screen effects! We'll also be building sets and scenery using craft supplies and learning about stop-motion technology. After the workshop, the students' movies can be emailed home.

Please Bring: Snack/drink for mid-session break.

Venue/Transport: There is 1hr free parking outside the venue, and free street parking nearby. The 5A bus route has plenty of regular buses from the centre of town, and stops next door, outside the Co-op Supermarket in Old London Road.
