Social media is a great way to advertise your business. It's free, easy to use and is a huge part of people's day to day lives. But what makes a good social media post, and how can video content help grow your business?
Videos have a huge impact online, so much so that 46% of users take some kind of action after watching a video and they're more likely to share it than any other type of content... Unfortunately, video can also be really expensive and unobtainable for small businesses.
We want to support you to create your own online video content using easily available tools like your mobile phone. We will also teach you how to edit and upload your videos to websites like facebook, twitter, vimeo and youtube so that you can enhance your business' social media impact.
Our fortnightly workshops cover:
- How to better use your mobile phone to shoot social media content
- How to record sound using your phone
- Social media tips to ensure the content made is successful online
- How to frame an interview
- How to upload footage to a laptop or desktop computer
- The basics of editing
- What cheap equipment can you purchase to enhance the quality of your videos
The course will be hosted at the Creative Colony office in Kingston Upon Thames (KT2 5EH). Parking is limited, but Sainsburys opposite provides a limited amount of free parking. Attendance is on a first come, first servce basis and you will be working with a small group of 6 people which provides a good opportunity for peer to peer learning and networking.
What do our clients have to say about our workshops?
"The training sessions were great, the team got some really practical insights into producing short video; from taking footage to editing and putting online. We have already started to produce some great new content for our social media pages." - Tessa B, Marketing Manager, Brooklands College
