Be Good Be Social

Animation can be a really effective way to tell your stories, but how do you get started?

Experienced charity comms professional Rosie Mcintosh leads this full-day hands-on workshop designed specifically for the third sector. Using examples drawn from charities and not for profits, this practical workshop looks at:

- using animation for anonymity in case studies

- animating your key campaign messages

- recording voiceover

- using software for simple animation including Biteable, Anchor and Goanimate

You can use animations to:

- tell human stories

- talk about your organisation's mission

- bring campaign messages to life

- highlight key statistics and research

- make your fundraising asks more compelling

- explained complicated issues quickly

- profile specific services or projects

You will come away from this session with the skills, confidence and tools needed to make animation a powerful part of your charity's communications, marketing, development and fundraising functions.

Please bring a laptop to take part in the hands-on sessions if you have one. If you cannot access one simply let us know in advance and we will ensure you are part of a group with at least one device. You won't miss out if you do not have your own laptop.

This full-day course is aimed at those new to online comms and those who want to take their social media presence to the next level. As with all of our workshops these sessions are aimed at charity, community group, social enterprise, housing association and public sector staff and volunteers.

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included in the ticket price.

To pay offline using cheque or invoice simply select your payment method at checkout OR email karen@thirdsectorlab.co.uk and we will quickly book a place on your behalf.
