About this event
Mental Health and Wellbeing is such an important component of everyday life. The wellbeing at work session aims to provide an opportunity to reflect on and discuss staff wellbeing, both on an individual level and as a collective.
It's an opportunity to acknowledge the things that impact on our wellbeing, what we can do collaboratively and individually to build on these.
The session will cover;

- Signs of Stress and Anxiety
- What is in place already
- What you can do - Identify your strengths
- PERMA
- Wellbeing conversations
You will each have a wellbeing pack to accompany today's session which will have activities, suggestions and tool kits to support you with your wellbeing.
Who should attend? Line managers, Mental Health First Aiders or any school staff interested in improving their school culture
The tutors
Liz Howard joined the Trust from Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) in November 2020, where she had been supporting prisons across the South of England.
Before HMPPS Liz worked in Further Education as the HR Director for Easton and Otley College. Her knowledge of HR in an Education setting, coupled with the experience and knowledge gained, while working with a wide variety of professionals in the Prison service, have provided extensive transferable skills.
Liz’s priorities are recruitment, retention, training and development, to ensure all staff are able to fulfil their potential.
With a passion for equality Liz is really keen to progress awareness of areas such as neurodiversity and the importance of good mental health in the workplace.
Fran Mcghee is an HR Advisor for the Inspiration Trust. Fran is an advocate for Wellbeing and her values align with supporting our staff to be able to perform to the best of their abilities to ensure they are able to deliver an excellent service and experience for our students.
Fran has always found a great sense of achievement in seeing others excel, and supporting people to achieve their goals and ambitions. Fran began her HR career in the prison service and has recently completed her CIPD Level 5.
Fran enjoys looking after her wellbeing by walking her dog, Milo and being outdoors on the farm.
