About this event
Only 15-seconds! That's not a lot of time at all!
First impressions therefore count. And in a world where attention spans last only as long as it takes to read the average Tweet, it is important that business leaders have the skills and tools available to help them to "Wow" and engage potential customers, partners and suppliers quickly and effectively, and stand out in crowd.
This 2-hour webinar on how to network effectively and build a memorable 60-second pitch will provide networking insights, tips and tools.
Your Presenter
Nicola Musgrove, founder of NetKind Consultants Ltd., works with companies, national and international organisations in both the public and private sector to help entrepreneurs and business leaders to develop their business case for funding, understand how grant applications are assessed and develop skills to think like an assessor. She also offers services where she acts a critical friend to help businesses build and prepare to submit a grant application. She has worked with companies across many sectors as part of her work with the European Space Agency, the national ICURe programme, CyberASAP, Universities including Cardiff University, University of Warwick, University of Birmingham, University of York and Politechnico Milan (to name a few), and is currently one of the national pitch trainers for Innovate UK's Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP), preparing companies to pitch during international trade missions.
Nicola is also offering a fully funded 1:1 session to each participant after the workshop to practice and share ideas that will improve the effectiveness of their initial introductions.
Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme
The Growth Hub programme operates a Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme. All SMEs which receive support under this programme are being aided under the UK Subsidy Control Act (2022) and The Subsidy Control (Gross Cash Amount and Gross Cash Equivalent) Regulations (2022 No. 1186).
MFA allows a beneficiary to receive up to £315,000 of Subsidy over a three-fiscal year period (i.e. the current and previous two fiscal years). The value of MFA given is the gross cash amount or the gross cash equivalent of the subsidy. The MFA value of this webinar is £723.40.
At the end of each financial year, we are required to tell you the total amount of support you have received from Enterprise Oxfordshire. By signing up to the event you are consenting to us holding your data in line with our Enterprise Oxfordshire Privacy policy to allow us to do this. We will only send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting if you opt in to marketing.
