Description

Creating a methodology for measuring outcomes: A seminar for Cinnamon Recognised Projects

Impact and evaluation are words that too frequently create insecurity and frustration among charities. But establishing a good measurement framework enables a project to stay focused on what it truly wants to achieve, and creates evidence that can lead to sustainable funding. Many charities find measuring change challenging, but it doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated. Keeping it simple and focused enables charities to have meaningful results which can be used to promote their success both internally and externally.

This highly interactive seminar provides a chance for you to share, learn and leave with your own draft measurement plan. Part of the seminar includes a pre-attendance questionnaire to make sure that as much as possible your specific situation and questions are addressed.

Kate Hutton will be our expert speaker and coach on the day. She has a public health background and now acts as a consultant in research and evaluation. She has worked for the NHS, Tearfund, Cinnamon Network, and has conducted evaluations for charities in the UK and overseas. She specialises in qualitative research and evaluations.

Places are limited to just 12 people so that we can offer what will be a round-table learning environment for participants. This event is ideal for either CEO’s or senior leaders within Cinnamon Recognised Projects.

The event will take place on Tuesday 31st October from 12.00 to 4.00pm at the offices of Stewardship, 1 Lamb's Passage, London. EC1Y 8AB. The cost per place is just £20 and includes a buffet sandwich lunch.
