Course Overview
This course will explore how culture influences practice, supporting confidence, reducing barriers, and promoting dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Aim
To support Activity Providers to understand how to embed activities and meaningful engagement into their daily roles, building awareness of how everyday attitudes, language, and actions shape culture within care services. Participants will feel confident in creating and sustaining a positive, inclusive, and person-centred environment that supports dignity and wellbeing
Learning outcomes:
· Recognise and understand what culture means within a care service and how shared values, attitudes, and communication influence everyday practice.
· Identify ways their role can promote dignity, belonging, and identity through meaningful activity and engagement.
· Reflect on their own practice and apply positive language and inclusive approaches to encourage participation and confidence.

As an attendee of the training day you MUST have your camera on during all of the sessions, this is to verify your participation/attendance.
Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session.This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
Please make sure that the name and email address you register is the name and email address of the person attending. Only people registered will be admitted on to the training.
