Creating an education system that develops passion and purpose
Overview
Creating an education system that develops passion and purpose: an interactive workshop to celebrate International Day of Education 2026
How do we shift from a number driven, one-size-fits-all education to a system that works for all, enabling students and teachers to co-create and live their passion, across all educational levels?
Schools should aid students to learn about themselves and the world, but many of our education systems are switching students off, teaching children to deny their inner knowing, seek knowledge not wisdom, and conform, rather than create their life.
Increasingly, students and their parents and carers are calling for new models of schooling that allow each individual to live their best life possible. While there are already a number of attempts to make this shift at primary and secondary level, there is also a need to have these conversations for higher education.
In this interactive session, we’ll be exploring how we can collectively develop a system that can ‘spark’ every child and young person into being their best self while also working for all involved.
We’ll be exploring:
- The opportunities for change at primary, secondary, further and higher education
- The key values and principles that we want to see embodied in these new institutions
- How we can create a system that embeds these values and principles into schools, colleges and higher education settings
