Creating Christmas Memories for Children with Two Homes - Rugby
Thu 1 December 2016, 12:30 – 13:30 GMT
Most of us treasure fond memories of family Christmases but it is becoming more and more common for children to experience Christmas in two separate homes and managing this can add additional stress to what already can be quite a challenging time for parents.
Generally what parents want is for their children to have a fabulous festive time with the opportunity to create some really positive memories to take forward into adulthood.
This workshop offers the opportunity to parents to think about how they will manage Christmas as separated parents and the effects of this on their children. There will be the opportunity to discuss
- How to share contact with children over the Christmas period
- How best to communicate with the ex
- What children need and don’t need from their parents at this time
- How parents can manage the time when their children aren’t with them
The 1 hour workshop will take place on Thursday 1 December 2016 at Brethertons offices in Rugby.
