Description

Sue Ashby and Tony Benge have written three historical plays based on local history: On Them Our Lives Depend - Bourton Foundry 1914 -18, Rage Tears & Cider: Peace Day 1919, & The Miller’s Daughter, set at Sturminster Mill in 1830. The one hour presentation will include how they translate historical research into authentic characters and a dramatic narrative that reflects the past and resonates and informs the audience. Excerpts from the plays are presented by actors involved in the productions.
