Creating Folklore Tales with artist Joseph Witchall & The North Devon Arts

Join artist Joseph Witchall for 1, 2 or all 3 creative workshops & have fun exploring folklore.

The resulting artwork will be displayed at Barnstaple Library from March 20th.

Book on to 1, 2 or all 3 free sessions

Workshop One: Saturday 10th January 10-12

Creating Folklore tales - an introduction into folklore, learn about folk stories from around Devon. Then have the opportunity to write your favourites or create tales of your own.

Workshop Two:Saturday 24th January 10-12

Characters design and story illustration - Choose a folktale and create and draw some dynamic characters. Then learn how to produce sequential story illustrations (comics)

Workshop Three: Saturday 31st January 10-12

Continue your illustrations from workshop two and produce finished artworks ready for display at Barnstaple Library Lates on 20th March
