About this event

Does your garden need pulling together? Have you struggled to create an overall layout that works for you? This day long workshop reveals a tried and tested method for planning a garden that will connect your garden to the house and make the garden feel much bigger. We will be looking at the fundamental garden design principles and spend some time thinking about how to use geometry in your garden. By the end of the day you will have created your first garden plan and take home the basic tools you need to plan your own garden. We are particularly delighted to be holding this workshop in the world renowed arboretum at Westonbirt.

Organised by

We run Floral Craft and Garden Design workshops at Westonbirt Arboretum. The Garden courses teach you how to transform your garden into a beautiful space. And on our Floral courses you will learn how to craft beautiful flower bouquets, vase arrangements and Christmas wreaths.

Our courses are never more than a day long, and often just half a day. We restrict numbers to a maximum of 10 students to make sure every students receives individual attention. All the Crafty Gardeners’ workshops are hands-on and practical, teaching you the top tips, techniques and shortcuts so you can apply what you have learned as soon as you get home. They make a perfect treat for yourself, or an ideal present for a loved one.
