Creating good listening conditions for learning in education, London

Are you a Teacher of the Deaf or other professional working with deaf children to improve their educational outcomes? Do you want to improve acoustics in education settings to help deaf children get maximum benefit from their learning environment?
Good listening conditions make a world of difference to the learning of deaf children and young people. Our practical workshop shows you how to use our recent online resources ‘Creating good listening conditions for learning in education’ and help you to make the case to improve acoustics to headteachers, SENCOs and commissioners. You’ll leave the workshop with a wealth of information and resources – presentations, videos and simulations – to deliver training to schools on good listening environments and reducing background noise.

£90 per delegate, payable via credit/debit card, cheque and invoice.
Do I need to do any prep before attending?

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?
The event will be hosted at the NDCS head office in London. The nearest underground station is Old Street; a 5 minute walk away.
There are no car parks directly on site. You can find information about local car parking here.
Is lunch provided?
Please note that lunch is not provided. Delegates will be asked to bring their own lunch or make use of any local cafes. Refreshments, such as tea, coffee and water will be available.
Can I give my place to a friend or colleague if I can't come?
Yes, however you must notify us in advance, at least 5 days before the workshop takes place via firstname.lastname@example.org
What if I need to cancel?
In the event the
Delegate cancels 20 working days or less before the planned date, a charge of 100% of the total cost will be made
Delegate cancels 21 - 30 working days before the planned date, a charge of 50% will be made
Delegate cancels 31 working days before the planned date, no charge will be made.
