Description

Happy workplaces leading to better health outcomes for patients and staff

Join us for this interactive event hosted by Happy Ltd and the Faculty of Medical Management and Leadership, supporting you in creating happier workplaces.

The evidence shows that happy workers are more productive and produce better quality work, but how can you evaluate and improve happiness?

This event will help you understand how to build your employees’ or your personal esteem and support self-actualisation to increase satisfaction at work.

Hear from healthcare organisations that have used techniques to increase the happiness within their workforce and therefore increase the value of the organisations’ work.

Speakers will include:

  • Peter Lees, Chief Executive and Medical Director, Faculty of Medical Management and Leadership - “The evidence that an engaged and happy workplace produces better health outcomes”

  • Dr Natalie Silvey, National Medical Director's Clinical Fellow at NHS England - “Learning from excellence – celebrating success within the NHS”

  • Liz Hobby and Val Frost, First Community Health and Care - “How valuing your staff leads to strong patient satisfaction”

  • Dominic Monkhouse, Managing Director, iomart - "Lessons from great workplaces in the private sector"

  • Henry Stewart, CEO of Happy and author of the Happy Manifesto, “Creating happy workplaces in the health sector”

With more to be announced!

Learn to engage with staff and implement some simple and novel ideas to create a positive working culture, increase performance and create better patient outcomes.
