Creating Independence through Technology (Your Home, Your Choice)
Wed 26 April 2017, 14:30 – 15:00 BST
The ConnectITT pilot is a partnership project which is aiming to create up to 30 smart homes for people with a learning disability in Newcastle.
The smart homes will use modern assistive technology alongside existing care to support people to live independently in their own homes and to demonstrate new ways of providing support.
ATEL, the technology provider for the project, offers a range of assistive technology that promotes independence of adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs or behaviour that challenges.
Our presentation and stall will give you the perfect opportunity to look at the technology available and see what a difference it could make to you and your family.
