Creating Psychological Safety in the Workplace
Overview
This workshop is designed to empower teams to cultivate an environment of psychological safety within the workplace. Psychological safety is a key driver of employee retention, reduced absenteeism, and increased employee satisfaction. By prioritizing psychological safety, organizations can create a supportive and inclusive culture that not only attracts and retains talent but also fosters innovation, engagement, and overall organizational success.
Participants will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to actively create a psychologically safe work environment, leading to improved team performance, increased employee engagement, and higher levels of innovation. Strategies to encourage open communication, mitigate unconscious biases, foster inclusivity, and build a culture where employees feel valued, respected, and safe are discussed.
We will look into techniques for active listening, constructive feedback, and expressing vulnerability to enhance trust and mutual respect among team members.
