Creating Sustainable Food Systems For Bolton
Fri 24 March 2017, 12:00 – 16:00 GMT
Join us for a lively afternoon looking at how we can work together to create sustainable food systems in Bolton. Throughout the afternoon we’ll explore how food can have a big impact on our communities and how we can tackle inequalities.
Sustainable food is food that is produced, processed, bought, sold and eaten in ways that provide social benefits, contribute to thriving local economies that create good jobs and secure livelihoods plus help build healthier and happier communities.
We’ll take a look at what is already being done in and around Bolton and map out future opportunities that bring about sustainable social benefits. We hope you can make it.
