Join us for the Creating the 'Birmingham Ageing Well Strategy': System Wide Stakeholder Workshop. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, contribute to and suppport co-production of the 'Birmingham Ageing Well Strategy'- which aims to shape our system to become a city we can age well in.

Why Join?

• Gain insight into the vision and ambition behind Birminghams' Ageing Well Strategy.
• Understand the evidence base and why a preventative approach and sytem change is essential.
• Explore the draft Framework and kick off our co-production journey for our city wide Ageing Well Strategy.
• Connect with colleagues across different services and sectors who are working towards a shared goal of better outcomes for those aged 50+.

Who should Join?

Those working in a delivery or strategic capacity across Birmingham within services and organisations, either directly or indirectly supporting those 50 and over.

We are keen to make sure we have attendance from those whose roles relate to:

• Community and Health Services
• Transportation
• Housing
• Leisure, cultural and spiritual services/ activities
• Outdoor spaces and buildings
• Social inclusion
• Employment and volunteering
• Communication and information

and

• Brain health and dementia prevention
• Falls and frailty prevention
• Planning for retirement
• Supporting people and their caregivers experiencing dying, death, loss (as we'll be embedding a public health and Compassionate Cities approach to this work).
