This event in Inverness is for artists and other creative professionals who have an interest in creative ageing. It will comprise presentations, discussions and there will be plenty of time for networking.

Who is this event for?

  • Older artists, whether you have a longstanding career or have come to your practice later in life
  • Artists of any age who work with and for older people in community settings
  • Professionals in cultural organisations who are involved in creative ageing work

There is no charge to attend, and some funds are available to help with expenses where needed. Please contact the Luminate team at info@luminatescotland.org or on 0131 668 8066 if you would like to discuss financial support.

Where is it taking place?

This event will take place at Eden Court and we will be in the MacLean Room. Luminate staff and Eden Court staff will be present on the day to help you get to the right place within the venue. You can find more information about the venue here: Home | Eden Court

We will be joined by the following two speakers:

Andrew Simpkins - Arts Practitioner - Theatre, at Eden Court

More speakers to be anounced shortly.

All our speakers will reflect on their creative ageing practice and projects. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and have broader discussions around creative ageing during the Q+A session. There will also be time for networking at the beginning of the event and during lunch.
