About this event

Health • Other

Each workshop will include reflective thinking, writing prompts, and the use of our senses as a way to release the restlessness that often comes with grief, while also offering moments of connection with our babies. Across six sessions, the group will grow together.

No writing experience is needed this is an open, welcoming space to express, connect, and remember. Because the pain after losing a child is not in remembering, but in fearing they may be forgotten.

This workshop may bring up strong emotions. We will have staff present to support mental and emotional wellbeing should it feel difficult. We recommend attending if you feel emotionally ready. Sharing is optional, and your wellbeing is our priority.

If you have any accessibility or wellbeing needs, please feel free to get in touch.

Please ensure that it has been at the very least a year of losing your child to allow for some processing time.

These workshops are led by Helena Morais, founder of Maila’s Present, and are supported by Sands, baby loss charity.

Please kindly note that participation in all six sessions of this workshop is required to ensure continuity in the activity.

Booking is required.
