JOIN US FREE CREATIVE NETWORKING IN SHARNBROOK ON 6TH APRIL
Taking a break from our usual Bedford locations, this month we are bringing creative networking to Sharnbrook. Our more rural location will be accompanied by a focus on RURAL BUSINESS.
We will have inspiration from Harrold based artist Jo Atherton, who sees no boundaries in going further afield with her work. And as a group, we will have a frank conversation about the issues and needs of creative business in rural areas. The event is an opportunity to chat with other creatives and includes a chance to shout-out about your own work and needs. Refreshments will be available.
Informal and open to all. Registration essential. Places limited to 30.
Jo is an artist working with objects gathered on the UK coastline. Jo uses exhibitions, talks and online contributions to forge collaborations and further her work. 2016 -17 saw her exhibiting and talking from Cheshire to Bournemouth to Somerset to the USA. Currently Jo is taking part in Curious Objects at University of Cambridge, by speaking alongside Paleontologist Dr Ken McNamara, Director of the Sedgewick Museum, on the “long tradition of collecting star-crossed stones.”
If you work in the arts, run a creative business, are a freelance artist, actor, producer, maker or musician (or commission them), or are just curious, this network is for you. Creative Bedfordshire monthly events take place across Bedfordshire. Creative Bedfordshire is delivered by Bedford Creative Arts and is free of charge to attend thanks to the support of Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council.
