The Creative Business Accelerator is a programme of business development tailored to support the needs of UAL graduates.

At this webinar you will find out more about the programme, eligibility to apply and the application process.


The Creative Business Accelerator has been developed by UAL Careers and Employability and is a part time programme delivered in person over 5 months. Sessions include business development workshops, one to one tailored advice, peer coaching and pitch preparation. Participants are also matched with an industry mentor.


The programme provides participants with the tools to grow a sustainable and successful creative business and build professional networks.


Who can apply for the Creative Business Accelerator

  • Graduates (up to 5 years after graduation) who have been awarded a Bachelor, Masters or PhD degree from UAL and who are:
  • Founder or co-founder of a business trading in the UK
  • Based in UK and able to attend in person
  • Already running a creative business (including social enterprise or commercial) or developing a product that has potential commercial intellectual property (IP) value.
  • Have spent at least a year on enterprising activity to develop their business/product idea.
  • Have developed some form of income generation for their business/product idea.
  • Have an existing customer / client base.
