We would like to invite you to join us in exploring together what the Creative Case means for individuals, organisations, and the North Area arts and cultural sector, at the Creative Case NORTH Gatherings.
Using the experiences of the Creative Case NORTH Explorations activity as a stimulus, these participatory events will look beyond the horizon to envision the Creative Case embedded in the cultural landscape of the North. There will be the opportunity to learn about each Exploration project and to exchange and discuss how, as individuals and organisations the Creative Case can be further incorporated into our work.
The key elements of the event will be:
- Creative Case NORTH Exploration partners sharing their insights and reflections following 6 days of shared enquiry into partnership practice and the Creative Case;
- A participatory Long Table Discussion ‘Looking Beyond the Horizon’, facilitated by Hassan Mahamdallie;
- Poetry devised and performed live by Kate Fox, Creative Case NORTH Poet in Residence.
Registration for Creative Case NORTH Gatherings is now open; please register online to reserve your place:
- Monday 16 March , Tate Liverpool – registration closes 9am Tuesday 10 March;
- Friday 20 March, The Hospitium, York – registration closes 9am Tuesday 17 March.
In the meantime, you can follow the progress of the Creative Case NORTH Explorations and contribute to conversations about the Creative Case for Diversity via twitter, using #creativecase.
Please forward this invitation on to any colleagues and contacts who may be interested in these events.
We look forward to seeing you at the event.
With best wishes
