Whether you're an avid junk journaler or new to scrapbooking, this workshop is for you!
Take on the role of collector and curator, choosing and then transforming your chosen 'junk' into creative treasure.
Spend some quality time rummaging, ripping, cutting and sticking to your heart's content... we will be sharing a simple way to create your junk journal from scratch, but feel free to bring your own journal along if you'd prefer as well.
We'll provide a range of materials to kick off your junk journaling journey, but please also bring your own upcycled materials to craft with too! Stuck for ideas? Here's some suggestions of what you could bring: receipts, tickets, scrap paper, pages of writing, photographs, bits of packaging, secondhand stamps, old books/mags, junk mail, old sewing patterns, wrapping paper scraps, napkins...you get the idea, anything goes!
No need to stress about coming solo, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow attendees through the joyful craft of junk journaling! This is your opportunity to take some time to craft, connect and self-express. What are you waiting for?
This workshop is open to anyone aged 18-30.
