Join us once a month for a relaxing evening getting creative, expressing yourself and connecting with others.
Our monthly group is an opportunity to take some time out, explore your creativity, and express your thoughts, feelings and ideas around themes related to mental health and wellbeing.
These sessions are for you if:
- You need a wellbeing boost
- You are struggling with your mental health
- You want a space to reflect and express yourself
- You enjoy being creative
- You don't think you are creative but would like to try something new
- You'd like to meet other people from the local community
Each session there is a theme that we will all explore using the creative materials provided. These will normally include pens, pencils, pastels, and a range of collage materials. No art experience or skill is needed. It's all about expressing yourself, there's no right or wrong.
The sessions are run by trained facilitators who are there to support you.
The sessions are available to all adults 18+
Creative Conversations sessions are run by Create & Connect Wellbeing CIC, a small Derbyshire based not for profit. Our mission is to continue to run creative sessions to support mental health and wellbeing free of charge, as well as to expand what we offer to support more people. Any support or donations to help us achieve this are always gratefully recieved.
