About this event
Make CIC are excited to launch their second edition of the ‘Creative Crit’ this time online.
An Art “Crit” or “Critique,” is a common staple for art courses in college and university, where artists show unfinished or finished work to their peers and receive feedback. This feedback can be extremely valuable, but, outside a scholastic environment, hard to find. We want our 'Creative Crit' to encourage artistic development, debate, and give artists an opportunity to network.
Working alone as an artist can be very isolating, so this will be a great opportunity to receive feedback back from a wider group of people and to push your practice further.
Everyone (not just makers) are welcome to come and share their opinion and observe the work. All artists from different backgrounds are encouraged to come and show their work, but please sign up by emailing - niamh.mitchell@makeliverpool.com
Each slot will be for 20 minutes, for artists to explain their work and receive feedback from other participants.
FAQs:
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On street paid parking around the venue. Very close walk from Hamilton Square station and many bus routes.
How accessible is the venue?
The event will be located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises including toilet provisions. We would advise wheelchair users to contact us on the sale of the ticket to arrange a parking bay.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
