This is a fun creative day at Thames Lido in their lovely event room. All material will be provided (though we do not have easels, we do provide drawing boards), as well as unlimited free hot drinks for the day.
The format of the day is as follows:
9:30am - 12:15pm - lifedrawing
12:30pm - 1:30pm - Lunch
1:30pm to 4pm - Printmaking

Lifedrawing
We will start the day with a professional lifemodel - The first hour will be some quick poses to warm up, so 3 minute poses. We will then go up to 5 and 10 minute poses, with some time left for a 20 minute pose.
We will take a break for 15 minutes to give the model time to stretch and people to get a drink if they want one. We will then proceed with the next hour of lifedrawing, this will consist of a few 5 minute poses to get back into the swing of things followed by a 45 minute pose.

Lunch
This will be in the Lido Dining area, seats have been prebooked for the group, lunch is included in the price of the tickets - small plates will be provided. (please contact me if you have any dietary requirements and they can be catered for)

Printmaking
This will be a nice afternoon of printmaking - there will be a choice of creating unique monoprints using your lifedrawing (or anything else) as inspriration, or also some linocutting can be done - these will be kept quite small to make sure you finish them in the alloted time.
