Kirsty Nevett, Course Leader for MA Fashion Business and MA Fashion Marketing (Online) at London College of Fashion.
How do the tensions between creativity and business play out in fashion marketing and business courses? What are the challenges and opportunities when all this happens online? When your college building is up for an architecture award, will this annoy or delight your online-only students? In this seminar, Kirsty Nevett will discuss her experiences delivering online courses at London College of Fashion and share early insights from two brand new UAL Online courses.
Friday 10 October 2025, 12 noon – 1pm BST
Mark Pavey, Programme Leader for MA Illustration Online at Arts University Bournemouth.
The induction of students onto any course is crucial, but what are the challenges for online-only learners? How shallow does the ‘on-ramp’ need to be? In this seminar, Mark Pavey shares insights and practical tips from his experience of designing and fine-tuning the introduction unit for MA Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth.
