Event description
A weekly poetry workshop designed to spark your imagination and get you writing. (runs for six weeks)

About this Event

Kick out the creative malaise and make poetry a habit!

Join me for a weekly Zoom poetry workshop designed to start your creative engines and get you writing new material on a regular basis. Through a varied range of creative prompts and exercises, you’ll finish each of these weekly 1 ½ hour sessions with a host of new material to work on.

Each session will consist of a series of short generative activities and the opportunity to read back to the group (if you want to!)

This workshop series is suitable for poets at all stages in their careers, from beginners looking to meet other poets and get some inspiration, to more experienced poets looking for a creative boost, or to reset their writing habits.

Next session dates: February 24th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st.

Duration: Each session will last approximately one and a half hours, with the exception of the first session of each term, which may take a little longer to give us all a chance to introduce ourselves to the group.

A £60 ticket covers the full six sessions of the Creative Engines Series. Please contact me directly for pay as you go options.

There are places available at a reduced rate to poets from marginalised communities, or to low-income participants who feel they would benefit from a place on this workshop but can't afford it right now. Please contact me in confidence if you would like an access code to join at a reduced rate.
